Yeah wveryone was convinced those will ne there final evolution types and in that specific order. They pretty much respected like Bibble, Grass/Ground, Fire and Water/Fighting. Anything else wasn't accepted and it resulted is all sorts of weird designs, from wingless griffins, raptors and even grounded owls with huge legs.
