The Riddler said that despite us having seen the middle stages and the final stages (through the leaks), we don't know their moves, type, stats, etc. Chinaman has never hinted at split evos, and in fact he pretty much shut that theory, along with a few others, down because he said a lot of guesses about the starters are wrong.
