It hits hard but it's pretty frail and not very fast. Scarf is the best item on it, but you can try Life Orb or Specs as well.

Like Chantaul's Chandelure knows fucking Energy Ball, Fire Blast, Shadow Ball and Will o Whisp.

that thing was by far the hardest Elite 4 pokemon to take out in Black 2.

Water Pokemon can't do shit unless they are at least 3 levels stronger and Energy Ball is a grass move. sucks ass. using Grass or Bug types? you're fucked.
