So, I just found out that Ohmori is directing SM instead of Masuda.
Is this a good sign or is he just a Masuda Junior with the same retarded mindset? Also how much influence does Masuda have as a producer?

Ohmori also directed ORAS, but Masuda mostly led that.

It's a bad sign to me, but I'm still optimistic.

Masuda pretty much backseat drove all of ORAS because vanilla RS is his baby but he said for SM he's leaving things to the next generation more

As for whether Ohmori has the same mindsets and such as him as a director, fuck if I know, we haven't seen him properly direct a game yet

We don't really know. People here say that it's a good thing, and that the real reason ORAS sucked was because of the short development time and Masuda meddling as the producer. I'm not going to get super optimistic.

How dthe fuck do you know if Masuda was secretly leading ORAS in the shadows? Are you insiders?

Masuda said in an intervie (with him and Shigeru, for the Pfficial ORAS strategy guide) that he gave Ohmori complete freedom with ORAS

So, you people saying that Masuda has less influence over SM than he had over ORAS, is just you making shit up out of your butts.

ORAS was great. SM hopefully will be great too. You people trying to shit on ORAS are tasteless.

Also, Masuda made Pokemon the great games they are. He is not my favourite director, but he is a very good one, and doesn´t deserve your spoiled whining.
