I don't like boxing Pokemon and never use them again. I play the Game as if i were a real Pokemon Trainer. Every Pokemon i catch i train it to win future battles. Basically in every Pokemon Game i catch like 60 Pokemon and by the time i get to the League all of them are in level 50. I like to level them up equally.

You can't transfer pokemon from gen 7 to gen 6.
It says so on the official site. Once it's in Alola, there's no going back.

I recently played through Omega Ruby and did this but caught every single mon (and traded over the ones I couldn't get in game) it took ages but shit me it felt good.

Not necessarily. I only catch the Pokemon i like It may be 20, 30 or 40. And yes they always have to be in the same level by around the time i get in the League

That said, I'm doing the same with the starter as soon as I've got 6 mons. Way too many good new Pokemon or old Pokemon I still want to try using to keep a slot occupied out of habit
