Riddler WAS a friend of the original leaker of the starter evos, sea cucumber , rugby monkey, yeti/snowman and so on.
The REAL leaker said to him(riddler) some stuff but he never showed him the pokemon or something, now he used the small information he has from the original leaker and creates fake-riddler, he has no idea about anything himself.
example: someone who nows real stuff say to me "hey there is a sand pokemon with a shovel in it, its funny" so I can make easy a riddle out of it and everyone will believe me.
Blue Cyclone is a pokemon competitive player but he use another name for his tournaments, I can't tell you who he is, but trust me, he knows EVERYTHING about the games and even future stuff. he doesn't work for gamefreak but he has a very good friend who works there.
