It isn't an option, it's the only choice in most cases. Literally, no one would use FB aside from No-Guard if the Pokemon has actual choices to choose from.

I don't care about things like that. I always choose the strong move with shit accuracy because I don't get upset if I lose because of something I don't have control of (rng). I just always rationalize it like ''had that move hit, I'd have won.''.

What do Aura Sphere and Power Gem, have in common?

Their distributions are based on the designs and lore of the Pokemon that get them, and it was never a good idea, just like preventing mons with Vital Spirit and Insomnia from using the Dream World and completely locking out Vigoroth.

Thunder and Blizzard have the same accuracy as Focus Miss. Both are only used in dedicated weather teams or by users who can improve their accuracy.

Focus Blast is literally only used because there are no better options for a mon to use.

There are so many mons that would benefit from a wider novepool. Like Aurorus could get Power Gem and Surf.

Also, some would benefit from rearranged stats as well. Look at Gourgeist and tell me this thing deserves what it got.

That's the point. FB is so powerful that if it had higher accuracy, it would be crazy OP since so many non fighting types learn it.

I also think hidden power shouldn't exist though so maybe I have unpopular opinions.

Hidden Power Fire/Ground is a good substitute if you want accuracy and/or beat specific threads.
Also, Dazzling Gleam is a good substitute for Focus Blast if you need coverage against Dark types.

I've unironically had good luck with having Focus Blast hit when I needed for it to hit. Hell there were times when my Gengar could have just use Dazzling Gleam to finish off a dark type without sucker punch, but I decided to just use Focus Blast for shits and giggles and yet it still hit.
