Implying that now that they know Dio Dragon will become part fighting they won't start planning for it
Unless this Gen also gives fairies a new move that's more powerful than Pixilated hyper voice, there aren't a whole lot of other options for fairy type moves.....so hyper beam is a very real possibility

You don't dedicate an entire moveslot on a Pokemon just for a singular option your enemy can run unless it severely threatens the rest of your team you fucking scrublord. You're probably the same idiot that thinks Bruxish and Lycanroc will magically be good by beating a few specific good Pokemon (they probably can't even counter them), when in reality they themselves will be completely unviable if they fail to threaten anything else (see Golduck the Primal "counter" pre-ORAS memes). You probably don't even know the difference between check, hard check, counter and hard counter, let alone the general concept of counterplay.
tl;dr educate yourself and stop spouting bullshit about things you have no idea about, because to be honest none of us knows how viable will the new Pokemon be until we see stat spreads and movepools.

Fighting and Dragon alongside Normal have the most diverse movepools in the game so yeah expect stuff like Earthquake, Stone/Slide, Poison Jag, The Elemental Punches, Mach/Bullet Punch, Iron Head/Tail, all the moves you said.

The only reason mons like Ferrothorn and Scizor survive with a x4 weakness is the fact their typing walls damn near EVERYTHING ELSE. Other mons like Weavile get by because they are hyper fast and offensive and their dual STAB is hard to wall.

Fighting brings a weakness to flying and psychic in addition to the x4 fairy weak, plus Dragon's Dragon and Ice weaknesses. Soundproof, if he retains it, is a very, very good ability since it protects him from pixilate Sylveon, Gardevoir and Aerialate Salamence. But being flying weak is a liability due to birbspam and depending on his defenses and speed tier could be very bad for him in matchups against physical Salamence sets.

Offensively, the only things which resist his STAB combo off the top of my head are Togekiss and Mimikyu who is immune to both of them. That's pretty good but again until we get stat distributions it's hard to say how easily it will be countered.

I'm not not very bullish on a new pseudo considering the pseudos of the last two gens were dogshit in gen 6.

Yeah but when the x4 weakness brings a lot of good resists OR very complimentary paired STAB is when it's typically worth it, I mean look at Heatran, x4 resist grass, ice, steel, fairy, poison and fire immunities, ect.

Also Tyranitar has a higher effective BST than other pseudos due to the 50% sdef boost from sandstorm he gets which is the main reason he's stayed relevant despite the power creep around him. Mega T-Tar has higher effective BST than box legends.

What part of offensive typing don't you understand? Fairy is the only typing to resist it's STAB and steel resists everything it's weak to as long as it has decent speed and a good attacking stat it'll be great. And Hydreigon isn't bad, fairy types aren't even it's problem no fairy type can live 2 Flash Cannon's without investing in bulk and then they probably still fall to an uninvested Iron tail.

Speed is what makes Hydreigon average.

Plus, one Protect after Mega Evolving followed by Bullet Punch, Cleffable is not living or it's brought in the red to be easily taken down by what comes out next.

Not necessarily for the biped part. It could easily have a quadruped form that rears up to use it's front claws, have a mace tail to hit with, or be focused on ramming moves from jangmo-o's design alone.

Being weak to both Clefable and Smogonbird is a nail in this things OU coffin unless it gets an incredibly obnoxious move like Breloom does.

This design sucks. Like, there are some good ideas (like the plates on the head reaching back, arm shields) but it goes too far and extrapolates too much. Why would it have fur AND plates. Why is there a wavy bit in it's midsection? Why are the shields translucent?
