Hey /vp/ I am having a dilemma that maybe you guys can help me with?

I've played every main series pokemon game and have never had an issue picking a starter. I've always had one in mind that stood out compared to the rest. Now, before I say who I chose, there was never a bias it's all based on looks and "personality"

My choices through 1-6 have been, Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Mudkip, Turtwig, Tepig, and Chespin. But, now we have these new Generation 7 starters and I have no definitive pick. I don't think any of these pokemon will evolve into something I personally like, thus making me box them when they hit their third stage.

My questions for you guys are:
>Do you have the same issue with this generation? What choice are you making and what is it based off of?

>What do you think they will evolve into and what are their potentials?

>Are these designs lackluster or is it just me?
