The strength of the E4 means nothing if you're stronger. I beat Steven Stone in Omega Ruby with one try, and only Mega-groas fainted 1 pokemon. Wallace brought me down to one Pokemon and I brought him down to one, and he edged me out and won and I did a rematch. Much more entertaining.
The Unova E4s are all 4 Pokemon each, and I also only needed to go through it once, and the Ghost, Psychic and Dark all being in one E4 mean I didn't even need much Mon variety to win.
Kalos is a joke and is in absolutely no way better than Johto's.
