>>29079398I have a love/hate opinion on the dexnav. On one hand I appreciate it for allowing me to choose which Pokemon I encounter, makes knowing what pokemon are availible in each route more convenient, and allows you to obtain neat bonuses if you search hard enough. On the other hand it can be a bitch to use. The sneaking with the analog stick can be a bit clumsy and slippery imo, and the game doesn't always spawn hidden pokemon away from the player while the player is moving. The hidden ones inside grass are easy to get and tolerable, the ones in the water although can move and feign vulnerability, you don't have to worry about obstacles as much, barring NPCs, but the cave ones are the real sons of bitches. The caves you are in tend to have obstacles and there are times when hidden pokemon will only stay in a area where you need to use your bike to access (those sandy slopes) and you're very likely to scare them away anyways if you attempt to traverse the slope. And finally there's the grindy aspect with the search level that I feel could be done less time expensively. Perhaps make it so to reach the maximum search level bonus, make it level 50? I know that it only takes until search level 15 for any pokemon to reach the possibility to obtain any search level bonus, but to lower each search level probability bonus can make it less tedious.
