This retarded shit needs to stop, so many great pokemons lost their potential, where instead of getting an actually good ability, they got Levitate instead because they're "floating". and they're always locked into that one ability
It's been a meme since gen 1 that magnemite floats but weak to earthquake and they have to shit on magnezone even further by giving it magnet rise

By giving already floating pokemon immunity to ground and land hazards, they will be able to fix so many wasted potentials and make things more sensible. even change the battle mechanics to a greater variable like physical/special split

I know this might potentially turn ground type to shit, but ground type itself is only resisted by 2 type and blocked by one, but being able to suppereffectively hit FIVE type is plain retarded, and the fact that Earthquake exists doesn't help
Or they can just create a non-signature ground type move that can hit floating or flying Pokemon like some kind of mud geyser or something, hell just make thousand arrows a goddamn TM
