The console that the press use to play was a o3ds or a new? Beacause I'm afraid the ones with Old will get a version with 20 fps like we did with Hyrule Warriors

Why are Pokemon games so poorly optimized? It's a fucking slow paced RPG with never more than 4 things on screen at once. Kid Icarus Uprising was a launch title for fuck's sake and it runs super nicely, while at the same time being hectic as fuck.

Why do you assume SM will use the N3DS' better hardware? Not all games use it and they haven't mentioned it at all.

It's not officially N3DS enhanced. The footage they use represents how the game will play out-the-box on O3DS and N3DS.

If you want to play it without framerate death on N3DS you'll have to use homebrew.

this. if it was going to be officially enhanced, it would have been mentioned by now simply to pump up pre-orders of the special edition "new" 3DS xl.

Because nearly every game released after has utilized the better hardware or an update has been released for games after.

Not necessarily, in this day and age that's the key to making your game fail. They got away with it in Black and White because it was just a camera function. Here it would announcing the game is literally better with the new one.

They're specifically selling SM 2DS bundles and they removed the in-battle 3D functionality just for the sake of smooth framerate. It's gonna run the same across all the handhelds.

Not unless you like wasting money on shiny new things you basically already have. Even as a Monster Hunter player (arguably the "best" reason to get a N3DS) I've been very happy with my original model. In fact I contend that 3DS+CPP is a superior set-up for MH than N3DS is when it comes to controls.
