So calling it now that Hala uses a Fighting Pokemon, a Normal Pokemon, an Electric Pokemon (Alolan Raichu probably) AND THEN Tapu Koko. I say this cause if the seven for each island thing is true, that implies three Trials, three Totem Pokemon, and one Grand Trial for each island. Given Hala uses a fighting pokemon, and how the first six Z-Crystals IRL being released are Fighting, Normal, Electric, Grass, Fire, Water, pretty sure then the next Kahuna will use a Fire, Grass and Water Type (Samson Oak maybe?) and then using probably the Psychic/Fairy Tapu on Akala. Then on the next island it might be Rock, Steel and Poison Trial Captains and Pokemon, which makes sense given the desert in the east, the walled city in north, and I'm guessing bog in the west. Then the last island has a Ghost, Dark and Bug set of Trial Captains (which given the Ruins, the Caverns in the Canyon and Jungle with the big-ass tree, makes sense.)
That leaves Fairy, Dragon, Psychic, Ground, Flying and Ice unaccounted for if the Z-Crystals IRL are tied to the Trial Captains in game, which if the rumours are true, could be tied to returning previous side characters or the Aether foundation and Team Skull. Or the Z-Crystals there of are given to you at certain places, the Flying one in that port town on the big island, Ice one on top of the ice mountain, dragon one in the steam caves of the forbidden island and or canyon, so on. While we do not know for sure which places are tied to the Trial Captains for sure outside Verdant Cave on Melemele and the ones on Akala, I'm betting we only will get to know the Akala Kahuna, and the Fighting Type Trial Captain who I bet is a manly girl (given Llima is a Trap and Sophocles is Fat.) Okay I was being silly but still it makes sense.
Why else have those certain Z-Crystals come with the Tomy Z-Ring? Or all the mystery with how we get the Trial TMs, Badges, and Z-Crystals in general?
