I used to be friends with Junichi Masuda in high school back when I lived in Japan. Not too long ago, he hit me up and asked me if we can meet up for his birthday party. I agreed, and took a trip to Japan to celebrate Mr. Masuda’s birthday. While there, I asked if I could get a sneak peek at a new Alola Form debuting in Sun & Moon. He agreed, as long as I agreed not to take a picture, but I took a picture while they were singing happy birthday as payback for that one time Mr. Masuda didn’t let me copy his answers in AP Calculus!
