People really need to stop slapping Fairy on Meloetta. It needs to naturally have STAB on Hyper Voice as Normal is the type mostly associated with sound-based moves. Its like making Exploud a Fairy.

If there was a Sound type Meloetta would be getting it over Fairy.

No it doesn't you faglord. And Pixilate didn't exist in Gen 5 so it was designed around the sound theme and NOT fairies. And why would Pixilate fix anything anyway? It would rely on an ability to even get STAB on that move. It would make zero sense for a pokemon who is an embodiment of singing to not get STAB on Hyper Voice right away.

Fairy didn't exist back then but it does now, and Meloetta clearly has all the qualities it takes to be a Fairy type, so why shouldn't it be? It was designed to be a singing/dancing fairy. Just make its signature move Fairy and Pixilate fixes the rest. Nobody gives a fuck about Meloetta anyway
