At the top left and right, we see the sun and the moon representing mind (animus) and spirit (spiritus), respectively. This ties into the box legendaries with the symbolism of a lion biting into the sun representing alchemy, and Lunala's ghost typing.
The bottom point is the earth, symbolized by a cube, symbolizing the body (corpus). What legendary has ties to the earth and also has a cube associated with it? Zygarde, naturally.
To add, various notes in alchemy not Azoth as a substance that flows through everything in existence, and was THE very thing that allowed something to change into something else. In essence, Azoth was regarded as liquid perfection, and the extraction/creation thereof in a tangible form was a major, if not the final goal of alchemy.
As for its name, it was constructed from the first and last letters of the Latin, Greek, and Hebrew alphabets, in that order: A/Alpha/Aleph, Z, Omega, and Tau, which ties in to the "Beginning and End" motif present in AZ, and Alpha and Omega.
