It was implied pretty much right from the start that Type:Null was a failed clone of Arceus.
Kinda like what happened to Mewtwo and Mew.

Wait a minute
So a big part of the reason we thought Type:Null was an Arceus clone was because the ring on its helmet resembled the rings around Arceus
But now in its evolved form Type:Null broke the helmet
So was the ring a limiter?
Mega Arceus with no yellow ring, all types, and 1000 hands when?

Primal Arceus
150 base everything except HP
Ability: Thousand Hands, works as Protean + Adaptability (receives 2x STAB on everything) and also has a defensive aspect (changes type to resist foe's attack)
Judgement now changes type in order to strike the foe super effectively
