Gladion could be the true rival since silvally got arceus's multi-type ability so gladion could just change it's typing that has a type advantage.

I'm getting over hyped and going all the way to Sinnoh sequels honestly. We had zero Arceus in Sinnoh since no real story was attached to the Azure Flute and he wasn't in the games otherwise. Most of our in game Arceus Story comes from Johto.

So my guess is a new Sinnoh story that more heavily involves Arceus.

I don't think its an Arceus clone as much as it is a chimera of various DNA samples in order to match its power. I know /vp/ hates Sonic, but its similar to how Shadow was created

Its not a clone of god, but a chimeric creature built to rival a god in power. Why? In its description it says that it was built for "special missions". Lore-wise, its basically impossible to harness the power of a legendary by force. Whoever created it (most probably Aether) learned from the mistakes of other villain teams (I suppose ORAS' Azoth has something to do with this) and instead of trying to capture a legendary, they creared a Pokemon to match its power.

There aren't that many differences between DP and Pt anyway, at least not when compared to RS/E.

If the DP remakes end up like ORAS, we'd get Platinum's pokédex, which could also mean we'll get the Platinum teams for Gym leaders and E4, fixing one of the biggest problems with DP. Then in the postgame we'd get a special episode for Giratina in the Distortion World, with probably some Arceus as well.

Really, the worst thing coming from remaking DP while ignoring most of Platinum would be no Battle Frontier, but even then, we'd still get Palmer.

She indeed appears in a building in Lumiose City (if I remember correctly, the other NPCs in the city allude to this). The lights flicker, she appears, looks at you for a while then vanishes after saying you're not "the one".

Could this be referreing to the Ultra Beasts? I know its probably stretching, but with the connection between Aether, Ultra Beasts and Type:Null aka not-Arceus, and mentions of some coming Darkness in the the Jango-o final evo description, I'm seeing GF building up towards something big.

Ironically, I searched for Silph Co on Bulbapedia before I even had heard of Azoth. At the very bottom of the page is a note saying its name was derived from Sylph, hyperlinked to Wikipedia page, then to Classical Elements, to Aether, to Aristotle, to Paracelsus, then finally, Azoth. Then Azoth for a full day to here. But all originated from curiosity on prior attempts at a synthetic PKMN to Null, searching Silph Co. I mean, Null is actually nowhere near the top, but nobody had been daft enough to attempt synthetic GODHOOD before. Only question now is why? It reminds me of the Dwemer attempt to enter Aetherus in Elder Scrolls with the utter vanity to dismiss the Gods. Unfortunately for them, a lot died, the rest are Orsimer, and their king is now a Daedric prince, spurned on Betelgeuse. Oh, mortals..
