I don't know how many people I've seen on 4chan who think that if they post pictures of messed up feet they're somehow going to get rid of someone's foot fetish or ruin a thread, only to not know that it doesn't work like that. In the short term it would only seemingly work if the image leaves such an impression that it constantly comes to mind, which I'm not sure is possible for footfags or possibly anything sexual. In the long term you'd probably have to be someone like a podiatrist who sees bad feet on a daily basis and even that still might not be enough.
