Time to debunk this "le only 80 new pokemon" meme. We have 53 new pokemon revealed thus far, not including alolan forms. That means that according to this bs we have 17 mons left to be revealed. We can cancel out
1) Three starters final evos (14 left)
2) Pikipek evos (12 left)
3) We can assume Komala, Wimpod, Salandit, Morellul each get 1 evo (10 left)
4) We can assume Tortunator, and Drampa have at least 1 pre evo (8 left)
5) We know Marshadow, dolphin mon, and snowman all exist because of leaks (5 left)
6) 3 other island guardians (2 left)
7) We have literally 0 new dark types this gen so there has to be at the very minimum 1 new dark mon (1 left)
8) We know the toucan and 2 other pokemon from the riddler (82 pokemon minimum now)
And it's pretty obvious that these will not be all the pokemon considering previous gens have had about 1/3 of their dex revealed before launch on average. Using this info we can assume there will be at least 100 new mons and around 120 realistically.
