What are some good sets for Bastiodon? Can you successfully utilize Magic Coat & Metal Burst?

Does anyone even ever use Bastiodon? ;_;

Bastiodon is outclassed by Aggron/Mega Aggron. There's a reason Mega Aggron ended up losing the Rock typing.

Even ignoring the 4x weaknesses, it has no means of reliable recovery as a wall and little to no offensive presence, which is for the most part, a death sentence.

Probopass is also a superior Bastidon in PU due to having Volt Switch, better offensive stats and the ability to trap Steel types.

For bastiodon? Toxic is pretty good. Although not reliable, there is fissure.

If you REALLY want to use it, you could do a meme set with Block and either Screech or Metal Sound to break through a wall. You would put Taunt on it as well with some Speed investment or Rest if you want, and then some attacking move relating to the defense you're lowering.
