What did they mean by this? New evolution method confirmed? Maybe the sum of Steenee's IVs must be above a certain total for it to evolve? what do you think?

Might be, but it seems strange that they're highlighting this. I don't recall any of the other descriptions pointing out how the pokemon evolves, other than Silvally. Makes me think there's more to it than just a simple level up evo.

Anyone who thinks it has to do with a new evolution method is absolutely retarded. Mega Evolution requires max friendship right? It's just a flavor if text to show that if they were real only the strongest becomes the protector of the family.

They need to be tough to make it to the top.
