>>29157492>Gamefreak are terrible coders.They really are. One of the quirks of developers who really only make one thing is that their coding kind of falls into a lazy haze. There are a number of poor decisions that don't really matter so long as everything runs exactly the way it was intended, but take it out of its happy place for even a second and the whole thing hits itself in panic.
It doesn't help that GF just dgaf. Why bother putting in 100% when you could half-ass everything and people will still offer you the lives of their firstborn to you.
