>>29157415>>29157414>>29157478Basically I have a huge-ass cage with 10 parakeets (now 9) that is built-in a wall. The wall has holes that I drilled into and fixed a few branches from a nearby tree so they have a place to rest and chat and shit.
A few weeks ago I made a cute swing for them to play on with a bit of string that I tied on one of the branches tied to the wall and another twig I found. Kind of rudimentar but got the job done. In less than a week all those faggots completely tore it apart, the strings being the only thing left. Django in particular loved hanging from the strings like he's Spider-Parakeet, hanging upside-down and stuff. He was the only one who did that and it was pretty cute.
I assume during the night he was playing on th string again, and accidentaly tangled it around his neck and suffocated to death. He was hanging from it this morning when I went to feed them
I removed the string and used it to do a makeshift cross made of twigs. He's buried under a oak. May he rest in peace
