Okay, so with the demo coming out this week, I'm wondering about something.
I have an old3DS on 11.0.X firmware with browserhax and menuhax.
The problem is that I can't access the eShop, due to having to update first, and ctr-httpwn doesn't work on old3DS. So it seems like I can't get the demo.
I don't care about pirating, I just want to be able to play romhacks and backup my saves.
Can I update my firmware without losing access to the homebrew menu? Or is it better to just sit it out for another month and wait for the full game.
I also have Alpha Sapphire and Super Mystery Dungeon, could I use either of those as access points even on the new firmware?
