So with the demo coming up, data mining is also going to happen, can anyone tell me what elements the ORAS demo had that might be revealed in the SM demo? I want to know what level of spoiler shielding I should do. Any suggestions on staying spoiler free besides staying off vp and social media?

ORAS datamine had NPC trainer artwork, the team of everyone in the game, movepools of every pokemon in the game, images of all the megas and hoopa unbound, and some filenames, item data, and other misc metadata

I hope we get a psychic/bug type this gen. I was looking back on it a while ago and I realized the game never had one.

For some reason that was really strange to me, the two types don't feel at all incompatible. In fact, I bet there are a ton of great ideas that can come out of it.

Interestingly an old leak mentioned Alola Butterfree would be Bug/Psychic

I think that's dead in the water though. I completely agree with you that it's time for a Bug/Psychic, but I don't think there'll be any new bug types.
