>>29190272>alolan forms for some johto pokemonI know it's probably not going to happen but I want to see some Alolan forms of Johto Pokemon. They seem limited to Kanto Pokemon right now and one of the theories as to why they're doing this (besides nostalgia) is because Gen I had terrible type distribution. Dark/Steel weren't a thing yet and there were barely any Ice and Dragon types. Gen II also had this problem, but it wasn't nearly as bad as Gen I. That's why I still think there's a shot at this happening (though not a great one).
I think Dunsparce, Qwilfish, Shuckle, and Corsola would all be fantastic candidates. Maybe Onix/Steelix as well. All of these are forgotten/unpopular Pokemon, like most of the currently known Alolan forms.
>new amie contentif they're going to bring Pokemon amie back they better give us some new minigames. When ORAS came out one of the first things I did was check if they changed anything for Amie. Nothing changed at all. What a disappointment. They put all this effort into happy/angry animations for all of the Pokemon and they're barely using them for anything.
>make togedemaru usefulI really want this gen's Pikachu knock off to be good for once, but I don't see it happening unless it gets some secret ability to be immune to ground moves. A 4x weakness to one of the best offensive types in the game. What were they thinking?
>story and dialogue worth reading>'better' difficultyHave important trainers/bosses use actual strategies. Have them use sun/rain/sandstorm teams. Have them mess around with things like Focus Punch/Substitute combos. If that's too much, how about something basic like tanky pokemon + toxic/leech seed? A simple Trick Room battle could be fun and not too overwhelming to newer players.
Use normal route trainers to slowly teach the player about strategies. Use route weather to acclimate the player to weather teams.
