I noticed that a lot of people hate Alolan Raichu's design? Why? I don't like it either but I don't know why.

That stupid smile and the eyes. Why are the eye highlights yellow? That makes no sense. The eyes are blue as a throwback to that one episode of the anime but imo the color looks kind of awkward. The smile doesn't look "animal" enough. A lot of the animalish Pokemon all have curved mouths.

Can someone photoshop Alolan Raichu to change these?

they tried way too hard to make it look cute. Bright blue eyes, chubby, ears that are similar to Pikachu's (stand straight up, almost a brown tip) rather than Raichu's, tiny almost nonexistent PINK nose

This is basically Alolan Pikachu, not Raichu

Well, I didn't even know it was a psychic type until yesterday. I thought it was fairy.

I don't like it because it basically is just a gay looking recolor. I know the recolor insult gets thrown around a lot here, but Muk looks wildly different, Sandslash and Ninetails are completely different types, and nobody has a problem with Executor because he looks wildly different. This is just a gay, retarded looking Raichu. The only signifigant difference is that it flies on its tail and gains psychic type, though its still electric.

Also, its really funny to me that Alolan raichu doesn't have levitate, that's literally its whole gimmick, is flying around.

I like it, reminds me of the gen 1 sprites, since I thought it had fluffy cotton-like ears and bounced on its tail. I remember being kinda disappointed in seeing Raichu's official art.

Also I can never unsee Raichu's RB sprite as having a bobtail instead of a foot.
