>>29206454I wouldn't really mind all that much, considering the redesigns are pretty damn high quality in my opinion, with Raichu being the only one I'm not exactly fond of, though I don't hate it either.
Ice Ninetales and Sandslash are both awesome looking and fun type combos (still miffed Avalugg wasn't Ice/Steel), Muk looks awesome and has a great typing, Faticate amuses me and Alola Meowth looks like a totally chill bro, and I'm sure Persian will be even more amazing.
I'd *like* to see some new Ice types, and I'm sure if we have an environment harsh enough to merit a change from fire to ice type there are surely a few new ice mons living there. Dark type is pretty easy to turn up anywhere so it's a pretty good chance of another one or two as well. The TCG leak earlier is proof enough that they haven't revealed everything, and they won't have time to before the release at this point. If there's one pokemon under wraps then it's very likely there are a considerable number more that are being kept secret. Pikipek's evolutions, the Tapu's and final starters we *know* are around but haven't been let out yet, and I really doubt that if they have only 5 or 6 other mons left that they'd bother keeping them secret. They'd have already revealed them in a big dump otherwise. They just took the most exciting ones and shared them to keep hype alive and keep us interested.
Datamining will give us a bit more info, and if not much, we only have a few more weeks to wait. I'm planning on having a blast either way, so quit stressing out and just be excited for what looks like an awesome new direction for the series.
