Geography isn't like regular earth anon, there's no deserts in France or New York.

Even if that were true, the fossil mons mean it would have happened so fucking long ago that it doesn't really matter.

In kyurems pokedex entries it says it was believed to be a alien. There was one dragon pokemon that got overwhelmed by all of the fighting that the two brothers that owned the dragon went through so it split onto reshiram and zekrom. kyurem was made from the "leftovers" days later and caused chaos at a nearby city and it ate people and pokemon.
