Why does this thing exist? WHY?
Does anyone actually like this? Does it do anything that Manaphy can't? Why DOES Manaphy squeeze out a fucking different Pokemon that can't evolve into it?

It's just a part of Manaphy's shtick. Together, it and Manaphy have a sort of parent and child thing going. Might also tie in with the animal on which they are partially based, iirc. Still doesn't stop me, personally, from hating it.
