It gains a surprisingly huge boost in Attack, and a little boost in Special Attack and Speed, and Water Shuriken is a special attack now. But considering the fact that it can't have Protean and it needs to KO something to transform, it's hard to say how it'll compare to regular Greninja. We'll just have to wait and see.

It's very good. Stats are excellent and Water Shuriken itself gets a buff when it transforms, having at least an effective 75 BP with STAB since it's guaranteed to hit at least twice. Also Water Shuriken is now a Special move.

Depends on how buffed Water Shuriken is in this form. Right now, it's slightly weaker, slightly faster than regular Greninja and doesn't have the ability to change type, which may or may not be a good thing.

Life orb only makes up for the fact that it doesn't get something like aerilate or tough claws.

So it can't evolve at will, it loses 10% of its life every attack to reach a similar power level to pinsir or charizard x, we don't even know if it can breed the ability (meaning its stuck with a neutral speed nature).

Seems odd for them to suddenly change from physical to special.
I thought it was considered physical because it was more of a cutting move, kinda like how Razer Leaf is a physical attack despite being a projectile.
