>>29250599The N3DS was a *massive* cash grab. The specs are a big improvement and the 3D face tracking/potential IPS screen is great. The C-Stick is honestly pretty gimmicky and is by no means a substitute for a proper second circle pad, though, and you can use Amiibo on the standard models so it's not a selling point in my opinion.
So, unless those things are are those things worth an additional $200 upgrade, I can't recommend you buy one. Nintendo has barely supported the thing. There's only two retail exclusives, one of which is a much better experience on its native console. There's about a dozen in total, but only a couple are actually worth playing, and they have not made any of them themselves. There's a handful of games that do run slightly better on it, like Hyrule Warriors of Monster Hunter 4, but it's not leaps and bounds better. You can use Amiibo on the regular model too, so it's not much of a selling point. And I seriously fucking hate where they re-located the stylus/cartridge/SD card slots. I feel like no thought went into it.
Basically, you're paying $200 for SNES games and better specs that almost no developer seems to know exist. Read: not worth it whatsoever.
