Here's all the confirmed shinies for Sun and Moon, I love the starters and how they all have the white in them. But I'm disappointed in the Alolan shinies... And the lack of Alolan forms.

Also these are the shiny forms of the ultra beast, which is odd too me that why would even have shiny forms.... I thought they weren't Pokemon?

Does that confirm that they will be catchable?

Even if some coding flaw required them to have shiny forms to prevent a crash or something, I doubt GF would make unique shiny colors if they aren't catchable.

They made shinies for other things that were never intended to have their shinies available like the notch eared Pichu and stuff like that precisely because of coding flaws, so even if UBs aren't catchable they'd still need shinies since in battle they operate exactly the same as normal Pokemon. It doesn't really prove anything one way or the other.

Yet they went through the effort to give them unique shinies when they could easily have copy pasted the normal model over to the shiny form to save time.

I don't know how it works with the models but I think back when it was still sprites for some reason the shiny did have to be different from the original. Also they did the same thing with the notch Pichu, it's shiny was slightly different to the original even though it was an event mon restricted to one gen and never intended to have its shiny available. I think UBs are catchable but I'm trying not to get overhyped or disappointed in case they aren't. This really doesn't prove much.

The fact that they have unique shinies (as opposed to the pitch black Pokewood enemies shinies), and the fact that they have Pokedex registration sprites at all, both confirm that they're Pokemon.

The leaker who mentioned UBs before they were revealed and the Box Legend prevos called them Pokemon. Riddler has them as Pokemon.

UBs are catchable Pokemon. It's not even up for debate at this point.

Pink Cutiefly/Ribombee is all I wanted, Gamefreak provided. I can easily ignore the inbred face of alolan persian, the ugly designs like bruxish and everything else. Nothing matters now, I will have my comfy lil fairy-bug.

Exactly what they look like. Pre-evos for the box legendaries. We don't know their context or how they factor into the story or anything though.
