I mean if I can think of this stuff in ten seconds, why did gamefreak settle for literally just a normal toucan?
I'm at a loss. I am desperately hoping that they knew we would datamine, and half of this is just fucking with us. That there's really 100+ new mons, fossil mons, that the data in the demo is meant to make us shit ourselves. Maybe the starters look crummy because Gamefreak thought it'd be a funny joke to put the fakes in there? Maybe that's why the data was "scrubbed"? It's not real.
