Genesect is a Pokemon modified by Team Plasma.

It's Bug/Steel.

Wimpod is Bug/Water.

People before speculated it's a modified Kabutops but there's no reasoning for the bug-typing.

Now we might have what Genesect is based off.

Bugs live and survive for years. Hawaii is a tropical environment with ocean all around it, on top of their being an evil group of scientist doing interdimensional bullshit.
