Alola forms aren't good enough GF.
Megas at least took more designing than a fucking palette swap or adding a wig.
Did I mention they were Megas from across ALL gens too.

Whats the excuse? Why is there such a low number of Alola forms, and where the fuck are the new megas? Answer for your crimes.

Yeah I remember that 1 (ONE) Gen 5 Mega that no one even cared about on release.

Alola forms let a few pokemon have a second chance at relevancy, but doing it too broadly would make it feel not like a special feature but a reboot/redesign of old pokemon. And we remember how well Gen V's reboot by cloning old pokemon data and giving the copy a different name and image went.

We'll probably get more Alolan forms in the main game that comes after SM. We've never gone a generation with only one set of main-series games.
