I know I'm grasping at straws here, but has anyone noticed how there's no unannounced event pokemon in the datamine?
In X/Y, we found Diancie and Hoopa and Volcanion, several obvious event-mons who weren't announced for years afterwards. With the POSSIBLE exception of Marshadow, there's nothing like that in this game.
Again, I know I'm reaching a bit here, but what if the early rumors about Gamefreak getting serious about DLC were true? What if the number of pokemon and alolan forms seems small, because it is? And they actually are going to release more pokemon, both new and old, in the form of DLC expansions?
