Sinnoh has Vitamins after Manaphy in the regional though. This is the regional dex not national. Marshadow do could even have a second form in the national dex.

Storywise, probably. But it has obvious parallels with XY "duo" (who weren't even connected in their own games) and cells/cores give similar vibes as the nebula/star prevos.

That's the only thing in the entire leak he seems to have gotten wrong. Maybe Battle Bond was a Z-move at some point in production? That would explain Ash doing similar moves in the movie.

Could be post-game content, like a side-quest that changes your starters ability to Battle Bond. Only the Pokemon pre-national seem to be in the demo so like mega's it could be available after you beat the game.

UBs are not Pokémon, but you can catch them and "fuse" them with Marshadow. That's why UBs don't have any type, and besides having shinies forms, Marshadow doesn't have.
