The Tapus will be insane in VGC and Doubles. I can easily see them being the center of a lot of teams, especially if Fire Terrain and Ghost Terrain are as crazy as Electric Terrain and Psychic Terrain. Remember, Psychic Terrain means no Fake Outs.

doge would still need to be faster than the bird for Accel Rock to go before Brave Bird, and it most likely won't be able to switch into that move anyway due to it still being a fucking resisted 120+STAB BP attack.

They usually make concentrated efforts to fuck over whatever the dominant strategies are the next set of actual games they make.

Note how weather abilities were toned down going into XY, sneaky stones/more high power moves for most types existing in DP to fuck over stall, etc
