Night in the demo?

Question-- How does the clock work in the demo? I've seen screencaps of it at night, but I can't get it to happen, be it naturally or by changing the clock on my DS. Is night in the demo even a thing?

You do it by soft resetting (L+R+Start) like 2 or 3 times on the title screen

Pretty sure it changes at 9 pm. And it doesn't do it naturally you have to reset.

It's random. Seriously how many threads do I gotta say this in. Alolan Dugtrio scene, Lillie, meeting with your mom at the store, and the night town are all random. You have to keep resetting and hope RNG blesses you.
