That said, I'm going to miss them too, sing your pokemon to make your own way through the world is more immersive than just hiring other pokemom to do it for you. Best compromise would have been only needing a HM and a pokemon capable of learning it to use it on the field, without them actually needing to learn it.

Soooo, ignoring all of the z crystal things and the items to change Sirvarry's type, there are barely any new items.

98 new moves but almost a third are Z-moves. The starters and legendaries are all getting their own special signature moves. The UBs are probably getting their own special movesets as well. So the number of actual new moves that 'regular' pokemon will have access to is probably more like 50

Only two brand new moves are TMs. But now we get Leech Life as a TM move. Wow.

This just gets more and more disappointing.

I liked them in gen I because you needed them for the main game, even cut, but they never felt worthless. There are multiple points during the main game where you need to use surf and strength, and cut creates some nice shortcuts after it's main points. They're also very nice organic roadblocks. And strength puzzles were really satisfying and fun too instead of "push one block aside and you did it."

Some moves just needed to be buffed, and no more than five in a generation.

I wish they kept Rock Smash as a TM. I know people grew to hate it because it was the shittiest HM, but it's actually a nice earlygame move that most physical mons have access to, and once it stopped being an HM you didn't have to worry about not being able to delete it for a while.

I hope the capture of the UB takes place in a cutscene. It's clear that the cover legend plays a role in making the ball, and it'd feel weird to either just catch the thing immediately, or have hundreds of them in stock. This better happen for Bug type derpmons and Scyther or even Crobat.
Bug is such a hit type defensively and poor offensively that even moves that have 120 BP are not worthy as non STAB.

Have you actually played the game in 3D? The framerate chugs. And from the looks of things, Sun and Moon are pushing the 3DS as is to the point where original 3DS' have the same loading problems Smash 4 does on non-New 3DS'.

I just hope there will be future DLCs for a new extension of Z-Moves and maybe a battle with Ash or Gary Oak. As far as i'm concerned, this game's main protagonist is from Kanto, with Ash's Pikachu being available in the games, no doubt Ash should be somewhere around the region just like how Ethan meets the autistic Red.

Dig is like my ultimate nostalgia move. It was always available early on and was a huge help in type coverage. Plus it was always easy to abuse with the poor AI. Useless in competitive play but so incredibly useful ingame.
