It's possible counterpart looks cool too, but I fell in love with Punchingcrab at first sight. I'd use it anyways (evolite or even everstone) but if it's its final evo, that makes me happy.

you are telling me that you want for there to be 53 new pokemon species and 33 pokemon that don't evolve? 54 if you count the sea urchin that people who totally aren't waifufags desperately want to be 2 different pokemon and 35 single stage pokemon.

that is more than half of the new pokemon that don't evolve. 31 is a huge number and while it includes ultra beasts, not including legendaries gives us 35 new pokemon and 17 single stage mons. 36 and 19 if the crab doesn't evolve.

all the pokemon that we have that might evolve either will or we haven't seen the whole dex yet. there is no way that more than half of the new pokemon we are getting don't evolve.

It's weird to me that this thing is Mono-Fighting, but if it evolves into Fighting/(Something else not relevant to its current form) then the type make sense. Ice/Fighting fits the bill well.

Yeah, that sounds much more like an evolution.

Crabrawler also has lore about searching for higher territory and what is the highest territory in Alola? The ice mountain.

The fact that it's a yeti suggests that the lore will say theyre a rare species with only the strongest few making it up the mountain and evolving.
