I don't mind the stupid face, but they should have added more differences BESIDES the stupid face. We already have Purugly for a stupid-looking cat.

Because it's spoiled (read the Alolan Meowth Pokédex entry), it's gotten a "big head."

I think the design also needed to be somewhat absurd. It's a spoiled cat that's full of itself, but to everyone else it just looks silly.

It would be bad if it were glorified, no?

The problem with this design is that the head does not fit the body at ALL, it's like they just cut off old Persian's head and tacked a sphere on it then slapped Purugly's face on it.
