And it pains me to agree with you. But it's actually true, i mean.... i still like pokemon for what it is, and the games look beautiful and all, but bruh, these games are literally screaming tryhard.
They're actually trying so hard it's hard for me to see the end goal, what are they trying to achieve with this overhaul and the stupid space additions?
When they pitched the games, they said it was >a tropical region, and the story weighs heavily on spirituality, tikis everywhere, rituals yadayada.
And what i'm actually seeing is
>Alien invasion>Aliens don't even match the designs of other monsters, and look extremely "western?">evil teams>potential betrayal>"wow" just as many new pokemon as X/Y, but they officially revealed 70% of it.>The region looks significally small compared to kalos, which also was small, with bad environmental transitions.thank god i havent actually seen all pokemon, nor played the games yet, and i might end up liking this shit.
