nobody goes against the tide there because if you even think about turning around and going upstream like a salmon or some shit then you get downed in "downvotes" and that's why 4chan is superior
because i can say here, even though it ain't the general opinion, that i am totally fine with 80 new pokemon, don't need a shit ton of new pokemon because i can barely remember all the ones that exist anyways, 4chan's no judgment anonymity can be bad but is generally way better for actual discussion and discovery of opinion. This is why i think 4chan is more honest than reddit, because if you trash talk a pokemon on r/pokemon you get downvoted to hell, even if the pokemon is shit
a great example if the new effectiveness system where it shows you what is and isn't effective, on le old reddit everyone defends that shit in fear of losing muh points, we don't have bullshit systems based around how popular your opinion is so we can see that it lowers the skill ceiling extremely and straight up isn't fucking fun to have shit spoon fed to you, just my 2 cents
