Yes. Alolan forms are just alternate Pokémon to catch with potentially cool abilities, but on the same level as normal Pokémon.

Megas over centralize the meta game and are pure cancer

I hate the concept of Alola forms as it screams both laziness and gen1 pandering.

From a story perspective, the idea that those certain mon look the same everywhere on the planet EXCEPT Alola because reasons is retarded.

Alolan forms are a better idea, but Megas have much better variety and in general, execution. Doing Alolan forms for so many pokemon, especially in a gen with few pogeys already, plus for only gen 1 pokemon, is a huge mistake and missed opportunity, which Gamefreak is having a lot of, lately.

Alolan forms are a fine idea, and I hope they continue doing regional variants, but half of them are the assiest ass shit that Gamefreak's ever shit out.

Meanwhile, Mega's only have a hand full of bad Mega's.

I like all the Alolan forms so far. It's just disappointing that's all we seem to be getting, and not just because it's kanto pokemon only. there's a few more kanto pokemon I would have liked to see.

I'm not even going to complain about all of them being Gen1-only, because it's understandable even though I don't like it, have to wonder why Alolan forms even exist

I actually believe they just designed Alolan Exeggutor as a Mega, but them found it just SO HILARIOUS that they decided to implement an entire new feature just so they could create more mememons and get those sweet YW bucks
