>>29284833>>29284843Eggs are at least a natural part of the world. They eggsist in that form (without the eyes/mouth) in nature... They're not made with intention, they're just made. Do you seriously not know what an egg is?
Plus there's some precedent to suggest that eggs could be considered living in that there is a living organism inside the egg, that in some animal groups can respond to the outside world by moving or adjusting hatching time.
>>29285284Gears and icecream and chandliers are made by a sentient organism with the pre-meditated intention of fulfilling a purpose. They do not occur in nature. Sludge and eggs eggsist in nature without premeditated function.
I'm not complaining that the gear/icecream/chandelier has eyes. I just think it's out of place, because pokemon are supposed to be the non-human natural part of their world. In some instances it actually does work to some degree, like Chandelure - where a ghost possesses a chandelier - but how the fuck could an icecream cone or a gear ever be considered part of the living world?
.
You guys are just butthurt 15yr olds who feel like older players are hating on shitty new design concepts because they're not Charizard, when really it's because they're so far removed from nature they might as well be digimon - honestly why not just have a pokemon that's an actual mailbox, or an actual window, or an actual driveway?
