I know I tuned into pokemon every time it pulled up on the channel listing and each time it was the same repetitive save nonsense.
The original series had a bit of grunge to it, a bit of suspense, classic Ash was a snarky scruffy everykid with a best friend and a girl who he bickers with.
Watching OS makes me feel like I'm in 3rd grade again, the dynamic was so spot on. Ask anyone, you're just being a contrarian because you want the ashnime to be good, I don't think you're lying, you're just wrong.
